The morning siminar by Mr. Wesbury was try interesting. His very positive attitude was a great change from the gloom and doom talking heads on TV and elsewhere. Let us hope he is at least mostly correct, for if he is things should continue to improve.

My big fear is that Obama will continue to socialize the nation into a pack of do nothing, collect everything dolts. I am sure he will try, but a divided congress/house could well maintain the balance and protect us from ourselves.

The problem with the suggested bank deposit tax in Cyprus is that it has likely given Obama and his henchmen the notion that taxing the bank deposit in the U.S. is a great idea that will bail out the country, pay off the national debt, and get him elected as President for Life, of something like that.

Bad government ideas have a way of spreading.

Some years ago one of the financial “Kings” in our gov warned about unfounded enthusiasm, or unintended acceleration or something like that. Seems like we are sailing the same boat of late. I did not rush to sell before the financial cliff (sell low), so I am not rushing to buy during this unintended whatever (buy high), but even so I don’t have much confidence in our economies underpinnings right now. Even in good times some crooks on Wall Street seem to manage to screw things up and never go to jail. Strange!!!

Hope I am wrong.

It is well known that the Government lost money and declared bankruptcy when they tried to run the Mustang Ranch (a legal whore house with a booze license in Nevada). What more needs be said about the financial abilities of our leaders???

Lord Montague (or some one like that) said, “ANYTHING THAT IS UNSUSTAINABLE WILL STOP’, (or something like that). Everyone (except those in Washington) knows our present spending is unsustainable, but somehow it does NOT stop. We turn a few of the bastards out of office but they are replaced by more idiots that simply do not seem to get the message.

POWER CORRUPTS, ABSOLUTE POWER CORRUPTS ABSOLUTELY (I read that somewhere).
