		<description><![CDATA[Thank you, Graig.  I totally agree with you.  If anything, i am struck by fact that radical Islamists are far more dangerous to us than Communists ever were.  This is not to diminish the threat of  Communism.  But radical Islamists believe that killing Americans is a path to Heaven.  

And perhaps worse they blame us for their plight instead of their own culture &amp; govts.  It&#039;s not an accident that many of the countries with the most natural resources are among the poorest; and that some countries w/o natural resources are among the most advanced, e.g., England &amp; Japan.  Culture matters.  

Furthermore,  it&#039;s my belief that we have only been lucky since 9/11 because the U.S. is full of &quot;soft&quot; targets that we cannot nor will not protect.  And i&#039;m not merely referring to landmarks.

Regarding the economy, yesterday i was struck by the fact that 5 of 6 commercial structures across the street from our convention center were empty. 

And lastly, complacency is perhaps even a greater threat than radical Islam.]]></description>
